Frogs getting active

Spring must be on the way, as the frogs are getting going, there must have been a dozen in the lower and biggest pond, and at least two in three of the other ponds.
No frog spawn yet, but can't be far away.
There was a buzzard in the large pond in the field and it looked like it had a frog out, although it struggled to take off as though its feet were stuck in the mud.
I planted  several pots of iris, which are starting to come out, They haven't worked out so well when planted straight in the ground, so I put plenty of grit in the pots and started them off in the cold frame.
