Lovely Weather

Having some great mornings this month, it's worth an early start to get those views from up on the top, just stunning.

The Virginia creeper is turning colour early, as usual for ours.
I keep thinking that the swallows have gone only to see them again, 8 or so flying around today. about two weeks ago there were huge numbers around the house swooping into there nesting sites and generally all over the place.
With our local shoot having changed hands this year, there are more pheasants and partridges as well this year about. It keeps the dogs on there toes !
Also has meant a big increase in red kites. We normally see 1 or 2 most days, but the last two days have seen 8 and very low.
