Nesting Starts

Checked my 26 nest boxes this week, and found 12 nests started, 2 quite well on, the others only small amounts in, so little you wonder if I cleaned them out properly, next week should tell a fuller story. Only saw one blue tit going into a box, but suspect most of the nests are blue tits.
Saw the first migrants back on the 10th April with a Pied Flycatcher and a Blackcap.
Seen Goldcrest 4 times over the last two weeks alongside the stream in the wood.

Nesting is a great idea and through this, we can protect the birds in summer. We all must do some arrangements for the protection and place the water as well. I like this update that is informative thanks for sharing.
