A Dry day !

At last, after 40 days we have finally have had 24 hours without rain. Today has been a sunny but cold day, night time temperatures were -6. Managed to do some work in the garden.
After having kept  weather records for 12 years, it's interesting to see that despite November and December being the wettest months of 2015, overall it was only just above average annual rainfall. April was the driest month as it has proved to be over the 12 years, with an average of 96mm rainfall, followed by September then June as our driest months. The wettest being December with 269mm average rainfall, followed by January and November. They kept up there averages as the 3 wettest months in 2015. March had the most frosts 15, so far this winter has bee very mild.
Let us hope for a dry spell now.
