Swallows going

Heavy rain, first for a long time, and some strong winds, have knocked the plants a bit.
Although the virginia creeper looks a picture.
The birds are hungry again with the feeders needing daily refilling.
A few swallows around, one family with three young on  the upper edge of the barn loft calling for food, fear they will not have time to prepare for the flight to Africa.

It is always a good kind of surprise to find a bird in your garden. This was what I felt when I found newly hatched hummingbirds in one of the bushes in my garden. I was so happy to see those little birds thriving, waiting when the time comes when they are ready to fly on their own. Another thing that made me happy was the presence of the birds means my garden is flourishing. Birds and insects see my garden as a haven for them so they are calling it their temporary home. Their presence means that you are doing right for your garden.

Hi, thank you for sharing this great info. Was just browsing through the net in my office and happened upon your blog. It is really very well written and quit comprehensive in explaining with a very simple language.
