
Still no frogspawn despite all the action in the ponds, however I went up onto the top of he hill beside our home yesterday and in several of the puddles up there was lots of frogspawn.
There's us about 650 ft up, but on the top is nearer 1150 ft so I would have thought the spawn would have been later up there. I have seen spawn up there before and it is just in the puddles, which if it gets very dry will not make it.
They obviously think there's a good chance it will stay damp enough, but I still think it's odd why the frogs are ahead of mine
