Cuckoo heard and first eggs

Cuckoo heard yesterday, seemed to be the other side of our valley, great sound, always worry they won't return. Checked nest boxes and found signs of use in 14 all together, including 3 with eggs. Eight eggs in nest 9( the old box I mentioned last time).
I think it's  a great tit in there and blue tits in the other two with eggs. The above box has a different material, probably a pied flycatcher, although they normally have more leaves.
Growth now showing in the oak leaves, no sign on the ash, which means a good summer according to old sayings, oak before ash means a splash, not the soak of the other way round.

A information about the first eggs is here. We can say that these eggs are Cuckoo heard but here author show a photo of this plant. I cannot imagine that this Cuckoo heard name is the name of any animal who have eggs.
