Good, bad and ugly

Been a mixed week for the birds, the good was the first sight of the blue pied flycatcher eggs in three nests also a redstart  and a pied wagtail nest each with eggs in. Also one box by the river an open fronted one which has not been used since I put it up some years ago, has an almost complete nest in it.
The bad was three nests with 1 or 2 eggs last week did not have any more eggs laid which is unusual unless the nest has been abandoned.
The ugly was the rain and strong winds at the end of the week which thankfully has come before any has hatched. That type of weather could have been disastrous to small chicks, as happened back in 2009 when all the blue tits young died.

Right now it sounds like Movable Type is the top blogging platform available right now. (from what I've read) Is that what you're using on your blog?

Wow the condition of these fertilized eggs is pretty good and I am sure that kids are coming out very soon. Now you should be turning their sides so that they may be able to hatch on the required time.
