Lucky with the weather, heavy drizzle morning and evening but an almost dry afternoon, even a little bit of sunshine.
Numbers were really good, several regular faces, but many new visitors, a total of 70 was many more than we feared as the rain fell and we learnt of other events on. The number included the 4 who came a week early and were kindly showed around by Barbara and Axel who were staying in our holiday let.
The normal praise for the cakes, and the plants sold well enabling us to raise £580 for the National Garden scheme charities.
The garden looked good with the clematis coming into their prime and many roses still in flower.
Thanks again to all our helpers and all who came on the day.
